Kale is our new favorite veg. We love this recipe of Emeril's, although we did cut back on the onion a bit. Another good one to try is Alton Brown's Christmas Soup.

We've always kept kale in soup, but I'm SO glad we tried this! A new favorite in our house - we added extra red pepper flakes for some kick and served with pork tenderloin and red potatoes mashed with butter, cream, and gruyere! So good and as cheap as kale is - this'll be a side dish we have more often!

After reading that Kale was a super-food, I decided to try this recipe out for our family's first tasting. Rave reviews all around! I quartered the recipe and used store-bought chicken broth. I cooked it in the broth about 15 minutes... it was still pretty chewy after the 8-10 minute time period.

Really good. Only change is I used ready made chicken broth. It's flavorful, healthy and fresh tasting. Will do this a lot. Kale is loaded with nutrition.

The flavor of this recipe was fine, but the ratio of onion to kale seemed a little much. I would probably do half next time.

OMG, this was close to awful. The flavor was very nice, but the vegetable itself is disgusting! It just keeps growing as you chew it. No matter how much masticating, it never breaks down. Maybe I just am NOT a Kale person.
I'm trying to widen my vegetable horizons, but I think I should just stick with what I know!

I had never made kale before and this was the first recipe I tried...it's definitely a keeper! With or without vinegar it is wholly delicious. Enjoy!

This recipe was so simple and turned out great. I tried the kale before I put in the red wine vinegar to see if it was tender enough, and it tasted so good before the vinegar that I was afraid to add it, so I ate it as was. Maybe next time I'll try the red wine vinegar, but why mess with an already delicious dish? Thanks Emeril!

We got kale with our CSA bag this week and I had no idea what to do with it. Thank heavens for foodnetwork.com. The recipe was clear and very easy to follow. I can't believe my 4 year old asked for a second helping. The flavor was wonderful, not at all bitter. I will definitely be making this again.
