This was so easy to do and since you put it together the night before it made getting breakfast ready very simple. Kids and parents loved it.

I made this Christmas eve for the next morning. It was great, while it cooked we opened presents and got to enjoy the morning instead of slaving in the kitchen!

This is a great make-ahead dish for a lazy weekend breakast or when you have overnight guests, because you make it the night before and then just pop it in the oven whenever you're ready to eat. The recipe can also be easily increased or decreased to accommodate different sized crowds.

I also followed the advice of previous reviews and used 9 eggs, a bit more half and half, and the Pepperidge Farm frozen Texas Toast. I baked it at 350 in my convection oven for about 45-50 minutes and it was perfectly done. The only further adjustments I would make to this recipe would be to more generously butter the pan, as mine stuck to the bottom a bit. Also, I would cover it with foil at least for part of the cooking time. My guests loved this, and I was asked for the recipe after the first bite! I was a bit concerned when I took it out of the fridge to bake the following morning as it looked kind of dry, but fear not - it came out great! I will definately make this again for brunch potluck. Nice going Emril!

I too changed the bread to garlic toast, changed the sausage to ham and used 10 eggs and 7 slices of garlic toast.

This recipe came out great. You may need to check center of egg mixture and make sure it is completely set, but other than that, PERFECT!

I too made it for Christmas morning - super easy. Took the advice of previous reviewers and added 3-4 extra eggs and then added crumbled bacon and cut back on the sausage. There were no left overs . . . need I say more?

So easy to make. So basic, and delicious. Great for holiday mornings with family staying over. Just pop it in the oven, out of the fridge.

I fixed this for New Years Day after staying up until midnight. It was a hit with the adults, teenagers and kids. I used 12 eggs and 1.5 lbs of sausage. Baked at 350 for 45 min covered then 20 min uncovered after bringing to room temperature for an hour first. The adults used homemade salsa on top for an extra kick. Will definetly make again.
