Absolutely fantastic! I made this for the first time for a group of friends & got so many compliments - someone told me it was the "best baked brie" they ever had. Don't be afraid of working with the puff pastry, it is simple to put it all together. My only tip would be to definitely spread the sugar evenly and out to the sides of the brie so every slice is flavorful.

I brought this to a party as an appetizer and everyone went wild for it. It was gone before most guests arrived! It is simple and great.

I had to bring an appetizer for holidays - we were traveling for. This was so easy - I made it the day before (but don't tell Emril I used the Pillsbury ready pie crust for the puff pastry and it was great - I have been called several times for the recipe. I still cooked it for the same amount of time recommended even with the pie crust.

I think there's too much brown sugar in one layer. I "Torted" the Brie with 3 layers and it was much better.

My family loved this. Almost like a dessert. Great with Granny Smith apple slices - tart balances sweetness.
