    My family has always roasted Turkeys and last year, I tried this recipe. It was so moist & delicious! I will use it everytime I make turkey. This year, I found sealing "brine bags" at Williams Sonoma and I think they will help ease the brining process. I actually put the turkey in a cooler overnight in the brine bag with ice surrounding it. Enjoy your Turkey Day!

    This was very easy to do and left the turkey moist and juicy with a lot of great flavor. I would highly recommend this to anyone. We will be using this recipe for years to come.

    My family members are HUGE fans of the deep-fried turkey. Last year, I decided to forego the deep-fried bird and try this recipe. It was my first baked bird....it was so wonderful that my family has hands-down decided that we wil deep-fry no more! All the seasons meld together just perfectly and no one seasoning is overpowering. The bird is the juciest I have ever had!

    If like me you always thought a brined turkey would be too salty or was too much trouble to deal with, please give this recipe a shot. The results are well worth the effort, and some how the salt in the brine does not transfer to the taste of the meat. It will be the most succulent and flavorful bird you'll ever enjoy.

    I used this recipe for the first time last T-day for my wife's family and everyone loved it so much, they've asked me to do it again! I'm also cooking the turk for my folks.
    Turkey comes out juicy and melts in your mouth. Unbelievable how good this is!!

    You just can't beat a brined bird! I do this with chicken as well. Oh and for the person who asked about smoking the bird...most definately brine it first...it's fantastic that way! However when I smoke a turkey, I usually all lots more citrus to the brine and use beer instead of water. ;

    I have prepared this version of turkey for the last 3 years and it is a hit everytime. Last year I did an adopt an airman program for our local air force base and was told this was better than his mom's (not that I'd ever tell. This recipe looked a little involved when I first tried it... but it is so easy and it serves so well that it was worth the hunting for all the fresh herbs and such. I have also passed this recipe on to all newlyweds that are serving their first thanksgiving and have had everyone come back and tell me how wonderful the turkey turned out.
