I used this recipe this Thanksgiving and it was great. I used this on a Turkey breast and then I used this recipe and combined it with the Cajun-Injected Spicy Turkey recipe and it was very moist and the flavors were unreal. I'll be using this recipe alot. I am going to try it with roast chicken next!
    Thanks Emeril!

It was so moist that when I went to cut the turkey after 20min out of the oven the meat fell off the bone! The taste was delightful and fresh with the herbs and veggie & fruit stuffed turkey. I plan on using this brine recipe for chicken, maybe pork...Thank you Emeril!

This recipe creates the absolute best turkey. It is not difficult but a bit time consuming. It is worth it!! My family loved it

I had never brined a turkey before, however after trying it this year for our Thanksgiving bird, it will be a must from now on!
We soaked our turkey in the brine overnight, adding 1/2 C of bourbon to the list of ingredients. On Thanksgiving morning, we rinsed and prepped the bird according to the instructions. I cooked it in an electric roaster, so I brushed the outside with browning liquid. Even though the turkey was done a hour before I had planned (yikes! I received a thumbs up from all 15 guests and several even asked if I was hosting Christmas dinner as well.
We used the last of the leftovers for sandwiches today, and even the white meat was still moist and full of flavor.
Brining does take some extra effort, but it was well worth it! Thanks for a great recipe, Emeril!

The turkey came out of the oven a picture perfect golden brown. The meat was moist, juicy & so full of flavor. This recipe will be the only one we use from now on.
