I was looking for a recipe for cabbage because we needed to start eating vegetables with Vitamin E in them and came across yours Emeril. The bacon and potatoes appealed to my 13 year old son, but he has NEVER had cabbage before. I let him be the first to taste it and he finished the whole thing! Needless to say we've found a good recipe for cabbage. (I used the low sodium broth as I have high blood pressure and it was still great. Being a single parent it was very economical too. Thank you very much : D

Just loved it. Kicked it up a notch and used pancetta instead of bacon, just had to add that Italian flavor. What a great way to use cabbage and potato's not only healthy but economical at the same time.

This was absolutely the best. My husband loved it, he said that's not just good it was great. I followed the recipe exactly except I did not use as much bacon due to dietary issues. Fast easy and delicious! Made it for New Years and making another batch today!

This was the best cabbage and potato recipe . I've fixed this for company many times and they agree, it's the best. I live in a area where I get freshly cut cabbage often. Never will boil, steam or fry again!

LOVE this recipe! We add a bag of carrots, so it makes a ton of food but I could eat it every day for a week. Throw it in a bowl with some butter on top and you will SO happy!

I have been making this dish for over ten years now! I wrote it down while it first aired on the Food Network. Corned beef goes great with it. Even people don't care for cabbage love it!

This is the only way I make cabbage and potatoes now. Sometimes I add smoked sausage or kilbasa for the last 20 minutes. Its a complete meal in one pan. Great and easy.

I was searching for a new twist to my traditional potato/cabbage recipe. This was easy to put together and got rave reviews from every one of my dinner guests. I have already had to pass along the recipe! Also, I served it with a rotisserie white wine chicken and chedder cheese tea biscuits. Yum-O!

We made this for St. Patrick's Day, ate it with corned beef and it was perfect. Then we had it again the next day for lunch with sandwiches and it was possible even better! The only thing I changed was substituting red potatoes because I didn't have to peel them. We will make this often!

Wow !! I've heard that the key to a man's heart is in his stomach. Well, it works the same way for women too. My marriage has been a bit strained lately. My wife is a huge cooked cabbage fan. So, I decided that I would cook her some, and maybe ease the tension. I found this recipe and thought I'd try it. I told her to be hungry when she got off of work (2:30 PM. I cooked it up. After she got home, we waited and talked a little, while the "good eats" finished baking. It was smelling soooo good. A long story short, she loved it. I'm out of the doghouse. And, I believe Emeril, you have SAVED MY MARRIAGE !!!! Thank you for an absolutely delicious, inexpensive, mouth-watering meal. Oh, and corn bread goes well with this.
