    Fantastic recipe! Amazing flavor. I do recommend increasing veggies and rice and I definitely recommend decreasing the rub ingredient portions from one TBSP to one TSP (or less, especially if this is your first jambalaya rodeo :-

    Hands down, BEST tasting jambalaya ever. It was a small portion tho and my hubby eats a lot, so next time I will double the rice, veggies, and broth. I am happy to add this recipe to my list!

    Extremely good! I needed some way to use the ham leftovers from Thanksgiving so I substituted it for the chicken. Wow! Knocked it out of the park. I went as far as substituting the bell pepper with a poblano so that 'kicked it up a notch' but other than that, I stayed true to the recipe.

    I made this last night and it was delicious. I spiced it up a bit by adding a jalapeno from our garden and used some kind of hotter peppers we grew instead of the bell pepper. Used double the vegetables, half the salt based on other reviews. Also used large shrimp cut in half and a large dice on the chicken. Only other comment is the prep time is off by half at least...more like 30-40 minutes by the time I peeled and deveined the shrimp. Excellent and well worth the effort.

    Great recipe. I used twice the veggies and added a jalapeno for some kick. Awesome.

    Oh Lord - this is one of the best things I have ever made. I love cajun food and I have eaten in some very nice restaurants in NOLA and this tasted better than anything I have ever eaten. The sad part though is I only had one very small bowl. My husband ate the rest : :(

    Awesome recipe. Made a pot of this stuff, gave a helping to a buddy who is bona fide New Orleans Cajun, who let me know it was some of the best jambalaya he had ever eaten.

    This recipe was super good... I used red pepper and no onion or tomato. I also added creole seasoning to the veggies and rice as they cooked. So I modded it just a little. It was very amazing!

    Just made this! Added the shrimp before the rice so i had to add more later as those shrunk BUT it tastes amazing! First Jambalaya = winning! ;

    My mom used to make jambalaya when we were kids living down south near the gulf, & living up north now I hadn't had any real jambalaya in maybe 40 years until I ran across this recipe. I'm a novice cook and this was really easy to make. As soon as I tasted it it brought back memories long forgotten! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! Absolutely fantastic!!!
