    By the time I bought all the ingredients this became quite an expensive punch. I was okay with that since all the reviewers gave it 5 stars. I thought it was good, but neither remarkable or a keeper. The wonderful thing about this site is that we discover we all have different taste. I tried this, won't again, but would certainly not suggest you not give it a shot--it might be a 5 star for you.

    Awesome !!!!! Made this about 4 years ago for Thanksgiving .. ever since it has become the signature puch for this Holiday .. everyone asks for it .. I make 3 batches and it's gone in no time !!

    I thought this was great. I had a few bottles of champagne around the house and was looking for a way to use them. This was light, not too sweet really nice.

    I made this for my workplace Christmas party yesterday and it was a hit! It's strong but tastes so good that you're tipsy before you know it. One batch is definitely not enough if you're making this for a big party... there were about 15-20 people at this one, and I doubled the recipe. Only a little bit was left at the end of the party, so it was the perfect amount.

    Grand Marnier and Triple Sec are both orange liquors. Is this a mistake in the recipe?
    1/2 cup orange liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier
    1/2 cup Triple Sec

    I made this for the first time for a holiday party. we had a selection of wines and other beverages - but this was the definite hit of the night - people loved it!! It was gone before i knew it - my only regret is we didn't make more - but we will next time. We're adding this as a 'must do' for future parties.

    This beverage was an instant favorite at Thanksgiving. It is a little bit pricey to make, so that is why I have it listed for special occasions. I am hoping to make it a Holiday Tradition at my house!
