It's a great punch for champagne lovers. It still tastes a lot like champagne so my guest who didn't like champagne didn't like it.

This punch was a crowd pleaser and easy to make. I put frozen strawberries in the bottom of the punch bowl to keep it cold. The punched soaked strawberries were tasty once they had thawed. I got little airline sized bottles of Grand Mariner and Cognac so I wouldn't end up with big bottles of something I would not use later. It takes two sample size bottles of each of those liquors.

I made this punch for a shower I hosted. It was a huge hit! I made 3 batches in advance thinking I had made way too much(mixed everything except the champagne ahead of time and everyone loved it so much I ran out half way through the shower. All my guests sipped it down so quickly, they didn't even touch the non-alcoholic punch. I would definitely recommend this recipe. It's deeeelish and I will absolutely make it again!

I made this for an open house on Christmas Eve. Tastey but nothing special.

The second batch went faster than the first. I just wish I'd bought enough champagne to make a third one. This was a true crowd pleaser.

I made this punch to serve at a Christmas party. I made a few variations:

    1. I didn't have triple sec (and don't really care for it, so to add sweetness I used strawberry schnapps. It substituted beautifully.

    2. This recipe makes a pretty stiff punch; fine with me, but to make it more "crowd friendly" (it was my parents' party, I used three bottles of champayne instead of two. The flavors were still very distinct.

    3. I used a 1-pound bag of frozen, whole, unsweetened strawberries for decoration, as well as to keep the punch cold.

This punch was fantastic, and I reprinted the recipe (and my variations for several people at the party who requested it.

    Thanks, Emeril! Merry Christmas!

The ingredients are a little expensive (Grand Marnier, but they are well worth it. Went through 3 batches and had people asking for more! Great recipe.

This was such a fun recipe. We combined all of the ingredients except the champagne the morning before our party and refridgerated. Five minutes before the guests arrived we made the punch in the bowl and added the fruit. It was chilled without being watered down and the presentation with the fruit was fabulously festive. Served in wine glasses this punch is deliciously potent, sweet and tasty.
