Used swiss n cheddar cheeses. Added onion powder, overall really good and easy to make.. potatoes took longer to bake than what the recipe called for so give yourself twice the amount of time.

I have made this several times - they are really good, I add ham and make it meal. However, the cooking time is WAY off - I cook them covered at 425 and stir them every half hour.

I didn't read the reviews ahead of time and the potatoes were barely started after 30 minutes. The rest of my meal was overdone waiting for the potatoes to get done. I've made a lot of Food Network recipes and never had this happen before. Par boiling the potatoes first would be another option to cooking them in the oven longer.

Deeeelicious! I made these potatoes for thanksgiving and everyone loved them. I topped them with green onions and bacon bits. (Perfect combination I will definitely make these again.

A-uhhhhhhh-mazing! I've made these potatoes several times and love them! They are my new signature side dish. My family and family's family loves them. I had never made scalloped potatoes before attempting these...so easy and delicious!

Awesome! Never made scalloped potatoes before and these were the hit of the night. Everyone quickly ate these up because they were so good. I followed the recipe close but had cooked an extra 15 to 20 minutes. Also, added additional cheese on top. Next time I make these, I will make more of it!! Thanks

This is a great recipe - and yes the cooking times are definately and totally off. Sooooooo - I cheated and put this dish into my microwave and nuked it for 30 - 35 minutes on high. The potatoes came out nice and soft and everything tasted great. I did cover the dish loosly with plastic wrap and a paper towel so the cheese sauce would not burn. The last 5 minutes in the microwave, I sprinkled a little of the grated cheddar cheese over the top.

I made this tonight. Delicious. I baked it for about 80 minutes. It turned out perfect. I'm taking these to my next potluck.

As stated by other reviewers, this cooking time was WAY off. I sliced mine paper thin on the mandolin and still they took over an hour to cook through. Other than that...it was a lovely dish.
