I have wanted to try making scalloped potatoes from scratch for a long time and finally did it for Easter dinner this year. This recipe was delicious!
Best of all it was easy. My only criticism would be that it took longer to cook than suggested. Next time I would turn up the heat to 375' and cook for at least 45mins. Everyone can't wait for me to make it again!

I must have cooked these for over two hours and the potatoes were still raw. I used Yukon gold potatoes...I wonder if that was the cause? The taste was good and I will try it again!

I tried these on my three picky kids for Easter dinner--they were a hit! I used 4 medium-size potatoes. Because of other readers' reviews, I baked them a little longer--uncovered--and for about 55 minutes (along with the ham. They were cheesy, flavorful and too good to not have seconds! Made enough for a family of four to have seconds.

I love this recipe - it is quick and filling. I love to provide my family with something new anytime I can - and the quicker the better some nights. This is a perfect recipe.

What can I say? I feel the need twice a year or so to make scalloped potatoes. When the occasion arrives this is the recipe I always use. Can't beat how good this dish is and how easy it is to make.

The first time I tried this, the potatoes were undercooked, and it ruined my dinner. The sauce was very good tho, so I tried it another time. I used a longer shallower dish, and cooked it 10 minutes longer. MUCH better results.

This was an excellent recipe, although I have to admit based on several of the other reviewers I added some butter and a bit more mill. My entire family raved about how yummy the potatoes were and ate them all up! Excellent recipe!

This is by far the best scalloped potato recipe I have ever made. It was a great side dish for a ham dinner and everyone in my family loved it. I used green onions for color and layered them with the potatoes. I also added two cloves of chopped garlic to the sauce and it was GREAT!!
