This was OK, but kind of bland. I don't know...maybe we're just not scalloped potato people.

I have made scalloped potatoes like this for years, saute'ing onions is a must. Have added roasted garlic at times, added Provolone cheese when I didn't have enough Cheddar. Always comes out great. It is out of this world with Gruyre cheese and a container of Creme Fraiche!!!

Fixed this as a side with the meatloaf and it seemed to compliment the dish very well. Thanks.

This was delicious. I added pepperjack cheese to give it a little kick.

this recipe is very very easy to make, and has become one that is requested when we have a family get together. This year I told my dad that I was making ham and scalloped potato's he said dont say any more, everything else is just cake.

so i added it to this recipe (instead of cooking onions in butter I just heated up some bacon first and used the grease..mmm

also i doubled up on the liquid and used a 400 degree oven for 45 mins.. pretty dam tasty. ja ja ja.

It was great. My kids even loved it. I was simple to do. I made my sauce up a couple of days ahead. And heated up when I need it.

My company loves to potluck and I love to cook. We always pick a theme and sometimes I just get stuck on what to make. Thank goodness for Emeril! I love to make his recipes, they are easy and always a big hit. I always get alot of requests for this recipe when we potluck even if the theme is chinese. Love this recipe! It's easy to adapt to whatever you need. I threw some ham into it to make a whole dinner. BIG hit!!!
