    I made 3 doz.today,and I added ripe olives.They are easy to make and delicious.Every recipe of Emerils I've made turns out GREAT.

    This recipe was extremely greasy. I followed it exactly and wound up with pools of lard in the bottom of my steamer.

    The texture of the tamales was good, but the flavor was somewhat bland. The heat of poblano peppers is very unpredictable and there really wasn't enough "spice" in the fresh poblanos I used. The tamales tasted like they "needed something."
