If you have a loaded cherry tree like me, this is a super easy, fabulous tasting recipe. So pick those cherries before the birds get them all!

This was so good- I tweaked it a bit and used a can of dark bing cherry pie filling (undrained, 6oz. blueberries, and a can of sliced peaches (drained. Omited the water and cut the sugar in half and then added the cornstarch. It turned out so good! Versatile and easy- gotta love it!

The receipie was exactly as he laid it out. Very simple. I reccomend pitting the cherries the night before or ahead of time. I can't belive I was able to make such a yummy desert in such a short amount of time. Enjoy!

I made this with pre-made pie filling and it was still great. The topping is so good with the perfect amount of crunch!

This was very tasty. Pitting the cherries were a bit of work but it was well worth it. I might add a bit of lemon juice to the filling next time to brighten the flavors a bit.

This was great! I used Bing cherries, so I only used one cup of sugar. The topping was really good and easy. Perfect for vanilla ice cream. I thought maybe the cherries would be too soft because they were cooked first but they still had good texture.

It's pretty good. Very simple to make. If you don't have tart cherries readily available, use canned!!!
