I fixed this duo on a very cold evening for my seven very hungry adult children. I tripled the recipe and none was left over. The chili had a nice bite with excellent flavor. Thick and meaty. The con queso was smooth and creamy with just the right spice from the peppers and pepperjack cheese. I received compliments all evening.

THe chili wasn't too bad, i like my chili with beans and the prep was pretty quick. But the reciepe was kind of bland and I ended up adding lots more spices and hot sauce/tabasco.

The only thing I did different was added more tomatoes & beans. One person who tried it said it was the best chili she ever had. I highly recommend trying this recipe!

This recipe worked well for the amount of time involved. The final product was indeed delicious. You will enjoy it. It is also a good foundation to test some of your own Chili ideas off of. Make the Queso, it is not hard. If you have the time throw some tortillas in the deep fry and do them up homemade.

Excellent, being a firehouse cook, this chili was outstanding and probably better than the chili that I used to make. Great flavor and taste.
