I made the recipe with chicken breast. Awesome taste.

Delicious, unique and flavorful grilled chicken. Other people have said they thought it lacked flavor, but the only reason I can imagine is the tequila doesn't come through strongly. If someone is expecting " tequila drunken" chicken, this isn't it. However, this is packed with flavor and the tequila adds a nice layer. Probably the best barbecued chicken I've had without having a sloppy sauce.

This was big hit with my family and neighbors! I have made this 3 times in 3 weeks. I followed the recipe exactly the first time except I did not dry the chicken off, but rather grilled it w/ the marinade as a coating... can't imagine it any other way. I now double the marinade and use chicken thighs. Served w/ coconut rice and Rachel Ray's Blac Bean and Corn Salad, you can't go wrong!

I loved this fish. I prepared it a little differently. I did everything the same except I steamed the marinated fish and did not make rice to spare calories. I topped the steamed fish with salsa mixture. My boyfriend even like it, so I now I have a winner recipe now.

Fantastic chicken! I topped grilled chicken breasts with fresh salsa and it was well received!!! I thought to do leg quarters and split breasts but I opted for boneless, skinless breasts and it was DELORIOUS and SCRUMTRULESCENT!

I made this for the first time for our Memorial Day cook-out for 22 people. I read the reviews for the recipe and saw that most people loved it, but a few said that it was missing something. After looking at the recipe and trying to imagine what it would taste like it just as it was, I decided to top it off with a creamy salsa after I finished grilling.

    Creamy Salsa:

1/2 cup sour cream (I used low fat
    1/4 cup chunky salsa

    Heat in microwave until hot.

This dish was a huge hit and I'll be making it again.

I don't know what all the rave reviews are all about. Wasn't terrible, but have to agree with the minority that it's somewhat lacking. Couldn't really taste the tequila. If I made it again, would probably kick it up a lot.

Made this last night. Used chicken breast instead of the leg quarters and cooked in a grill pan without drying off the chicken. Also, couldn't find cumin seeds so just threw in some cumin. Also, as Emeril suggested on the show, just threw in the serrano pepper whole and added a "little" more tequila. It was FABULOUS...

My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. I cooked it on the stovetop rather than the grill, and it worked just fine.
