Wow! Great recipe! Didn't see the horseradish sauce at the bottom....so, pulled out a remoulade from Emeril's "Easy dinners" recipe book.

Love this recipe. I had left over striped bass and used that instead of the crab meat and it was delicious. They were delicious even without the horseradish sauce but it was a nice addition anyway.

Prep takes a while but it was worth it. The horseradish sauce was a wonderful change.

Made these with a beautiful filet mignon on New Years Eve. The flavor is outstanding! The prep is a bit time consuming, but well worth it! I also wrapped and chilled them in the fridge for an hour before I made them. Seemed to keep their form a little better!

Excellent Crab Cakes. However, I am allergic to bell peppers so I deleted them the first time I made these, that time they turned out a little bland. But, WOW!!!!!, the next time I substituted finely diced sweet carrots. WOW!!!!!!, sure improved the flavor, now my family requests them all the time. Oh, and for people, like myself, who are on a strict budget, crab is not always an affordable item, in which case I have also substituted a good quality imitation crab meat & these crab cakes still turn out great & with exceptional flavor. Good Luck to all!!!!! Enjoy, I know my family does.

I needed to use two eggs and a little more flour, and only fried them for 2 minutes on each side.

EXTREMELY TIME CONSUMING TO MAKE BUT I THOUGHT I WAS MAKING ONE OF THE BEST RECIPES - I WASN'T! BETWEEN THE CRAB CAKES, TOMATO SALAD AND HORSERADISH SAUCE THIS RECIPE TOOK HOURS!!!! I don't mind spending hours on a recipe if it delivers yet this one did not. The cakes offered a fair taste to them that was not worth the effort put in. I will continue to look for a great crab cake recipe.

I made these crab cakes as appetizers for a party. They were outstanding!! Everyone loved them. I made about 30 mini crab cakes instead of the entree size. They came out great!! Thanks Emeril!!

By far the best crab cakes I've ever eaten. My finicky wife who hates everything 'cept McDonalds raves about them. The mixture of textures, temperatures and flavors is "perfect".
I've fixed these several ways with and without the side dishes and I must say prepared as aired is the "coup de etat". I feel the simple but delicious Roasted Corn and Tomato Salad make this dinner, as a fine wine completes a good meal.
