The shrimp is great. I didn't ever make the chutney since I don't like msngo, but I made my own pineapple dipping sauce.

I loved ! this recipe it was my first time making ,and I love ordering cocnut shrimp when going out to dinner but they can over price them at restaurants ,and now I can make what I love at home ,and tastes even better then the restaurant coco shrimp. My only regret is not making them with larger shrimp say 16/20 or larger would have been better, because since I made them with small shrimp I had to make alot and constantly drain the oil which was a pain.

This recipe is delicous. It takes a little time to make the sauce but it is well worth it. You can even use it with other types of fish or I ate it plain. The shrimp is not greesy and the batter is light and crispy.

The flavor was great, but I'm not sure what I did wrong with the coconut. It never got that toasty brown color that I see in my favorite "Down Under" Australian restaruant. I will keep trying, though!
