I tried this for a christmas/wedding anniversary dinner, everyone loved it. The chutney is very good. I did it with canned pineapple but next time I think fresh pineapple would be better.

The first time I made these I was shocked how well they came out. I added a few extra things here and there to adjust it to my taste. Everyone I made them for loved them! The habanero's gave it the perfect kick. Now whenever we get together to eat they ask me to bring the coconut shrimp with the dip! I love making them and having a deep fryer for them makes it much easier! Try them out trust me its worth it.

last week I made all my buddies and there wives mouths water when I showed up to tailgate. The coconut shrimp flew off there plates,now I am expected to bring more every week.

It frustrates me when someone wants to ask a question that has nothing to do with the recipe . They give it 3 stars instead of the 5 that it deserves.This recipe deserves 10 stars
