Maybe it was just because I didn't have a sieve with small enough holes to catch it all, but I didn't like that there were so many coffee grounds in this ice cream. It was pretty tasty, but not my favorite.

I can't believe I made coffee ice cream! It was extremely easy and tasty. 'Though there did seemed to be a bit of film around my mouth as I ate the ice cream which makes this ice cream not exactly perfect. But because I was the one that made it and it still tasted pretty good I give this recipe 5-stars. And just for some people to know, when I tasted the ice cream warm it seemed like it wasn't sweet enough. But after going through the freezing process the sweetness was perfect.

This recipe turned out OK in the end but here's the problem:
Two hours isn't enough time for the mixture to cool down in the refrigerator and when I put it in the ice cream freezer, the mixture didn't freeze. It defrosted the bowl.
It does taste great so DO make this ice cream but refrigerate the mixture overnight or for several hours before you attempt to put it in your i.c. maker.

I tried this recipie and was pleased at the outcome before I even put it in my ice cream churn. I used less cream and more half and half and I added just a little more sugar and some cappuccino mix for a little extra hint of flavor and BAM! (if I may use the term it was delicious. I let mine chill for 24 hours. As it was churning, I caught my husband sneaking spoonfuls. Considering the big coffee addict he is, that let me know I had a winner.
