Love, love, love this sauce. We've made it for the last 4-5 years and everywhere we go it is a hit! The flavors blend together wonderfully and the port adds a deep color. Try it, you'll love it!

This is one of the easiest and tastiest cranberry recipes I have done. I substitute a Gewurztraminer wine flavored with green apples in place of the port. Makes the sauce very light with just a tiny hint of apple flavor also. I have used this recipe for about 5 years now guess you could say it is one of my favorites.

Port gives it a depth that many others lack. I've made this many times and love it. Plus, the house smells fantastic when cooking it.

This is a great recipe. It's easy to make and it tastes so fresh. I do always have to add about a quarter cup more sugar to keep the cranberries from being too tart, and I also substitute the Port with organge juice. I have made this cranberry sauce part of our holiday traditions. Our kids like it too, and some of them are a bit picky.

Usually cranberry sauce is something only the adventurous try. Kids turn up their noses and adults either like or don't. I witnessed guests taking seconds of this yummy sauce and saw the leftovers being used as jelly on bread rolls the next day. A true keeper of a recipe!

I loved this! It was pretty easy, but we did need to about double the sugar. It was too tart with only 1/2 cup.
