This was my first time making cranberry sauce and it was so easy. The great thing is you can control the flavoring. If you like the orange zest flavor, add more, if you like it a ilttle sweeter add more sugar. Even people that had never tried real cranberry sauce liked this one! It's a keeper.

I love cranberry relish, but even those at the table that will only eat the jellied kind, gobbled this up. In fact the jellied sauce out of the can was completely untouched! Very yummy!

I generally make sauce for my family ... after trying this, I'm a convert. I used only 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon, which I found to be enough.

I'm not a big fan of cranberry sauce. Nor had I really ever had it before. I made this sauce simply because having cranberry sauce seemed like a very traditional thing to do for a thanksgiving meal. When I tried the sauce, OMG! it was really good sauce! My parents were crazy about the sauce. My dad kept picking at the sauce even after stuffing himself with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and more. It was great! I will definitely make this again.

This recipe goes together in a snap, can be made in advance and the result produces a sauce that had my "I don't like cranberry sauce" guests reaching for seconds :

This has to be one of the best cranberry sauces I ever had. I made this for the family on thanksgiving and they all agreed. I am going to make this for Christmas as well. I had to make two batches of this because they liked it so much.

The taste of the sauce was excellent until I added the cornstarch which made the texture a little grainy. I am making another batch and cutting the cornstarch in half.

It was very simple to make ... it was my first time cooking cranberry sauce and it is fabulous! The orange zest really made me warm up to the cranberry taste. We couldn't find port in our liiquor cabinet so we used Black Cherry Liquor. YUM! Really like that it wasn't too sweet!
