This was totally delicious! I had to compromise; thawed frozen spinach instead of fresh, green onions from my garden instead of shallots. And I didn't add nutmeg (not a big nutmeg fan. It was still wonderful and I only wish I had made more than I did!

Very easy and tasty side dish. I cut everything in half and turned out great!

I don't eat creamed spinach but my husband loves it. I use this recipe every time he wants it & it always turns out great.

Added about 3 cloves of garlic for my preference, and used minced onions and half and half because that's all I had on hand. SOOO good!

I have learned from other recipes that shallots can easily overpower, so I reduced the amount and it ended up exactly how I'd hoped. Delicious! Didn't have a drop left.

YUM! I made this for my family on Christmas day. The only addition I made was fresh grated parmesan cheese on top, set in the oven after I turned off the oven when the turkey was done and let it sit in the warm oven for just a few minutes while I finished up the other dishes. My only disappointment was there were no leftovers. Next time I will certainly double the recipe for my small family! Thanks for the recipe Emeril!!

Not sure why, but this just didn't come out the way I had hoped. Perhaps I'm not a shallot fan. I've made other versions that I much preferred.

This is a great dish!! I've been craving spinach like crazy with my 3rd pregnancy and I wanted to try something different, I'm so glad I found this!! I did substitute fat free half and half for the cream and used red onions instead of the shallots, just because I didn't have any in the pantry. I also cut back to 1 Tbsp. of butter and it was delicious! The whole family ate it, even my two girls who are 1 and 3!
