    Very yummy!
The only problem I had with the recipe was that it uses seasoned flour ? Please explain how to make seasoned flour. I used the bayou spice as a rub then floured my chops and fried. I wasn't sure what temp to fry at, so I went with med-high & gave the chops about 3 min each side.

The combination of flavors and textures in this dinner is what impressed me the most. The crunchy outer coating on the tender seasoned porkchop topped with the soft tart granny smith apple is amazing I really want to love sweet potatoes (other than in a pie and have been trying them different ways lately, and this is my favorite. They were not too sweet, and went really well with the greens, too. I used turnip and collard greens because I like bitter flavor of the mustard greens. When eating, I suggest loading your fork with something savory and something sweet at the same time. I imagine that was Emeril's intention. Great for fall! Oh, and it wasn't hard at all!

I made the pork chops and apples as well as the mashed sweet potatoes. the chops I liberally seasoned with essence and floured turned out really good but I love essence and the apples I would make again and pair it with other meats as well. verrry good. the sweet potatoes were really good I like the vanilla in them but i don't think I would salt and pepper I would and did top them with brown sugar them instead. I would have also put alittle more vanilla as I really liked that part and the heavy cream. good dishes would do it again pretty simple.

This recipe was utterly amazing. The flavors married together so well. As the boyfriend said, "You actually made pork that's moist. That's impossible." My only changes were to (1 butterfly the pork chops so there's more surface area and (2 drizzle some chicken broth over the chops before putting them in the oven to make them moist.

I made this on a Monday night after work. I looked at the clock at one point and realized that in about 55 minutes I had prepared these 4 dishes and we were just about finished eating. Emeril's dishes aren't usually that quick to prepare. The shortcut I took was with the greens. I just opened a can of Glory Foods Seasoned Southern Style Mixed Greens and heated it. The rest of the menu was exactly as Emeril listed. I was amazed at how good everything was - and how well each dish complemented the others. My husband added cinnamon and sugar to his sweet potatoes; that's how he prefers them. I was so thrilled with the meal that I'm making it for company next week!

My boyfriend and I grilled the chops instead of frying them and the dish turned out beautifully! Foods compliment each other well and it was fairly quick and easy to do! We put this recipe at the top of our favorites!!
