This recipe had a reallt great taste but it came out way to runny. I will definatly try it again except that i would recomend using little to no water. The berries created there own liquid have not real need to add that much water it not any/ I wasould also add alittle more cornstarch. Reading the pther reviews to i see that i was not the only one with this problem.
So to conclued, great taste, less water, and more cornstarch.

Good recipe but you have to cut down the cooking time of the berries and also not use as much liquid and/or use more cornstarch to thicken it up. Comes out tasty if you modify it.

I made this recipe twice...Cooking the berrys that long turned them to mush...much better if berrys are not added until ready to pour into crust..they keep their shape that way.
It also makes a great cobbler filling!

Although the taste of the pie filling was fantastic (I will use the extra as ice cream topper, the consistency for a pie was way too soupy. The amount of water was confusing in the recipe and I was told later that berry pie doesn't need any water. So maybe without water and an egg wash on top with sugar sprinkled on top this might be a good pie.
