I made the spinach and it was good. Needed to add more cream and milk as it was too thick. I also added the scalloped potatoes but sautéed some 2/3 cup chopped green onions, garlic and red pepper flakes for a kick. Great with ham.

WATCH OUT. I think I'm a pretty good cook. The scalloped potato recipe says to put in "some of the cream" with the potato layers. That's what I did. I even put in more, but I think the directions should say, put in ALL the cream. The only good part of this was that I won't be dying to eat leftovers.

Wonderful side dishes. One suggestion. Take the time and make the meal perfection and make the Yorkshire Pudding!!

Winning recipe...4-in-one. The meat, veggies and sauce...terrific! This is a keeper to use frequently i.e. a meat recipe, a spinach receipe, a potato recipe, etc. Annie, Fremont, CA

This recipe is awesome. What a wonderful side dish. I only made half of the recipe as I only had 1 pound of spinach. I wish I had gone to the market after 6 pounds more. Not any left overs here! Will make again and again. Thanks Emeril.

The creamed spinach is fantastic..The only change I would strongly suggest is double the cheese and triple the garlic...Delicious..

I made the worcestershire sauce, scalloped poatoes and creamed spinch for Easter dinner and it was wonderful! Everyone loved it! People couldn't stop talking about how great the creamed spinach was. The homemade worsershire sauce was good too, but a lot of work, so I'm not sure that I would would make it again.

I made the scalloped potatoes for the family Sunday lunch today. I used half and half and some 1% milk instead of heavy cream and they were still rich. I added some cayenne, garlic and onion powder. They were fantastic and this will be my scalloped potato recipe from now on. I think it will be fun to play with a variety of cheeses and seasonings as it seems this recipe is very adaptable.

The recipe says to boil the potatoes in 3 cups of cream but when you are layering them into the baking pan it says "transfer 1/3 of the potatoes with SOME cream" did you add a little at a time but completely used all of the 3 cups by the time you reached the top layer?

I made the scalloped potatoes and they were out of this world! The best I've ever had or made. Will keep this recipe for any time I want scalloped potatoes but especially for special occasions. Thanks Emeril!
