Great for parties, served in several large glasses to add height to your food table. A bit tricky to match the pastry sizes together. I will try lauralou's "mistake" by rolling them already sandwiched together!

Easy and a big hit. I would add more cheese and spice to it only because I like the essence. I only cooked them for 15 mins.

20 minutes is way too long. In my accurate oven (I bake a lot and have 2 oven thermometers 10-12 minutes turned out perfect cheese straws. You do have to watch them closely, though. Pull them out when the color is right.

These were so good and so very easy to put together. I forgot to roll out the dough before putting the cheese and pesto on it so rolled the two sandwiched together. Worked great and really glued the cheese in there. I served them with marinara to dip - HUGE HIT!! Thanks Emeril!

Delcious, the pastry puffed up beautifully, but i think the cooking time should be adjusted some, mine were done in 12 minutes or so.

making thise cheese straws. Looks like a lot of work but it's not! The egg is a nice touch to deepen the flavor and help it all stick together.
