This was better the next day, a little better. Not worthy of making again, rather just make a good lasagna or eggplant parmesan. More than half went in garbage.

I love this recipe! We now grill the eggplant instead of cooking it in the oil (it soaks it up like a sponge, or sometimes I put the eggplant on a cookie sheet and cook it in the broiler. We even made it in Italy for our Italian friends, and they LOVED it! This is my go-to recipe for a casserole to bring to potlucks. The layering of flavors is absolutely delicious.

Very good. I added 7 oz. more sauce with 2 oz. more pasta and a lot more cheese. Easy simple meal. I chose to bake my eggplant (peeled & cubed, we do not like peel on unless it is deep fried for about 40 minutes and it is not as time consuming if you do it this way.

Very tasty dish,I'm not sure that I did the eggplant right though because the dish was a little oily, maybe I used too much oil to cook the eggplant, next time I might try zuchinni instead. This definitely goes in the recipe folder for a next time.

Definitely takes a little extra time, but well worth it. Full of flavor and as stated, true restaurant quality. Always a big hit. Freezes well so go ahead and make extra. I have made Following recipe with no changes and by adding extra cheese and spicy sausage. Either way you can not go wrong.

Oh my gosh, this is so full of flavor it's unblieveable. I did not have to add anything to this not even more spices. Follow the directions and use what he tells you and you will think that you are eating a dish that you would get from a resteraunt. Most excellent so far that I have tried. There was only one thing I did different and that was I layered the cheese throughout also. You must try, you won't be dissapointed. UUUMMMM

The best. Very tasty. Takes awhile to make so plan ahead, but not difficult. I like to use 'hot sausage to add some kick.
