I had been looking online for a recipe like this to use up some of the green beans from my garden. This is as good as any restaurant version and I will definitely be making it again. I used more green beans and cashews, but otherwise followed the recipe to the letter. You won't be disappointed!

This is some of the best Asian food I've had in a long time. It is so full of flavor and just the right heat without being heavily sauces as many Asian dishes are. I served it over Jasmine rice as that is what I had and I love it's fragrance. I just noticed in the picture, it looks like bean sprouts and I don't believe that is in the recipe, but it might be good. If it was, I missed it, but it wasn't missing a thing IMHO. This is a great way to use my abundance of garden fresh green beans which is how I found this recipe...searching for green bean recipes...great find!

It could be that I'm not a fan of cloves (one of the ingredients in Chinese 5 spice that I did not like this recipe (my husband actually hated it. The rest of the sauce was actually quite tasty.

This stir fry was absolutely fabulous! It was a little difficult finding all the ingredients, but now that I have them I will definitely make this again. I added carrots, broccoli and snow peas :

I've made several unsuccessful attempts at Asian food in the past. This is the first time I've made an Asian dish that tastes authentic. I had to invest about $12 in sauces and seasonings, but I found everything I needed in a regular grocery store (plus, I'd have spent that much ordering takeout one time. This recipe is well worth the investment in ingredients. I was skeptical about the sweet smell of the five spice blend, but it came together great with the slightly spicy sauces and the garlic. I'd like this with a bit more heat, so I'd add more red pepper flakes. I'd love to try this with shrimp, green peppers, onions, broccoli... I don't even own a wok, so if I can get this right, you can, too!

This was an absolutely delicious recipe -- the flavors blended together & it has a nice kick! We felt it was restaurant quality.

Eventhough I couldn't find the Asian spice blend at the grocery store, this dish had PLENTY of flavor. It tasted like it had a slight Thai flavor twist, which I'm not a fan of. I was expecting more of a Chinese Sesame chickent takeout flavor, but it was just enough of a hint where I wasn't bothered by it and actually enjoyed it enough where I'd add this into my dinner rotation in a heartbeat!
