This recipe is easy, and very handy specially for me, because my kids love doughnuts and I always have to buy them. Now thanks to Emeril I can make my own.

The dough is very thin with 6 cps of flour. I will use more flour the next time I make this recipe. The results were a very thin, hard to work with, dough and the doughnut reminded me more of a fritter when fried than a shaped doughnut. I added pureed bananas to the custard filling to lessen the sweetness. The resulting taste was delicious.

I needed a glaze for a cake I made. This is super easy. The consistency was great. Not too runny. It hardened up just like bakery glaze. Yum!
