I love this recipe! I put apply this to many of my meals. To prove it ...my husband hates salmon... I grilled salmon with a nice coating of this seasoning and he loved it he wanted more!!! - This is good on pulled pork, fish, rabbi... anything! I always keep a jar around. item not reviewed by moderator and published

Amazing for hashbrowns. People, don't use table salt! Kosher or sea salt! item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is THE BEST seasoning for burgers!!!! item not reviewed by moderator and published

It is not only tasty, it is easy to kick it up a notch if you think you have been too timid with the flavourings. I make a whole Pint jar of the stuff and if it's going on the BBQ it is getting the "Esssense" My spice-timid children have come to enjoy a change of seasonings, and I gradually introduce a little Indian Curry to their palates. Ya gotta be a bit sneaky to teach people what "taste" really is. barrie.r@wordshoppe.ca item not reviewed by moderator and published
So delicious. I keep this and the southwest around. I cut down the cayenne to half cause my husband is a spice newbie. I have to review cause I make this like once a month or two. Thank you! item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is my "go to" seasoning for most everything and especially when I can't think of anything to make. Fish, chicken, pork chops, hamburgers, mix it in butter to dip clams in, you name it! I've never bought the store version so I can't compare to that but my family LOVES this! I decrease the salt to 1t because we don't have 'salty' tongues here and I made a less cayenne-y jar just to flavor my 8 year old's food. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I eliminated the salt and added 1 more tablespoon of pepper after ruining a whole dinner of my Cajun Chicken Alfredo. I also only use a half teaspoon of oregano, and a half teaspoon of thyme too, otherwise for some reason it can have an odd, almost fishy taste. It's a perfect blackening seasoning now also. As posted, it's inedible. item not reviewed by moderator and published
Far too much salt. I invested much time and expense using this in paella and it was almost ruined. Half the salt, at least. item not reviewed by moderator and published
That is really stupid to rate a recipe so low AFTER you made changes. Really?! YOUR recipe was bad! item not reviewed by moderator and published
