    Phenomenal! It has bacon in it, I mean come on! I showed up at a get together and there were three potato salads, this one was gone in no time flat! hahaha ... actually people still talk about it a year later! When we eat it at home it's even better! All the flavors marry in the fridge: super-tasty!

    This is the best potato salad I have ever tasted. The ranch really gives it something special. I usually make this a day or two before we plan to eat it to allow the flavors to blend. It's definitely a crowd pleaser!

    I've been making this potato salad for 1 year now and everybody loves it. There are never any leftovers. I make the recipe as is with no substitutions. I definitely believe using a great ranch dressing is the key. I use "Naturally Fresh Ranch Dressing" usually found in the vegetable section refrigerated. I would not recommend using Hidden Valley or any of the other dressings that are not refrigerated at the store. I also recommend using quality bacon.

    Update 2/08/13: I have now been making this Potato Salad for 4+ years and it is still my favorite potato salad. I always get rave reviews when I make this. You can not go wrong with potatoes, bacon & ranch dressing (as long as it's a good ranch dressing. I would recommend making it the night before serving, the flavors blend well together and taste great the next day.

    Best. Potato salad. Ever.
    I used extra thick cut bacon, green onions instead of red, and dill in place of the parsley. Also, I made my own thick ranch dressing.
    I will be making this potato salad from now on.

    I have been making Emeril's Favorite Potato Salad for about 6 years now and it's always great! I don't particularly like mustard or mayo based potato salads, so when I came across this one using ranch dressing and bacon I immediately tried it.

    To cut down on chopping and what not, I use a food processor and dried herbs. It still comes out great! I also add a bit more bacon and dressing. I would recommend using thick cut bacon. Also, be sure to let the salad sit overnight. Anything less and the flavors don't marry like they should.

    Definitely a winner, but Emeril usually is!

    Delicious, easy to prepare. Everyone I've prepared it for loved it.. I used the all-ready prepared bacon bits in the pouch (not bacosto make the recipe even easier. This recipe is a keeper.

    One of the best potato salads ever. I've been making this for a while now but have yet to review. Definitely 5 stars. I always shred some cheddar cheese to add.

    Perfect texture and flavor! My husband is very picky when it comes to potato salad and he LOVED this ; Well, honestly it has bacon... and is an Emeril recipe so how could it be bad lol
