    So delicious! I skipped the fancy meats and used spicy Italian sausage. Sooooooo good. I've also cut down the cooking time for the sauce a few times, and it still came out great.

    Ok,EVERYONE thought it was terrific. I have made several attempts to find the "right" lasagna for us as we are BIG italian lovers, but have never found anything like this Lasagna. After the 1st 1/2 hour our house was filled with amazing meat sauce aroma and I was dying to taste the final product. I followed the recipe to the T and it came out great but I didn't find like many of the comments that it was salty at all. The sauce did come out a little oily, perhaps next time I'll drain the fat after cooking the meat. We used a large Lasagna deep dish so there is PLENTY of leftovers and I look forward to having it for lunch today to see how it tastes the next day (my wife just emailed me and told me that her leftovers at work were awesome, the same as last night. The only criticism we had was that we should have used more meat, less cheese and made more sauce. I plan to make it again soon with perhaps double the sauce so we can freeze it and use it for other pasta recipes.

    Unbelievably delicious! I have never made a deep dish lasagna before, and let me tell you, it is out of this world!!! The sauce was perfect, the mixture of all the cheese, EVERYTHING was wonderful!!!! I made it for 2 people (and it's HUGE and before he tasted it, my friend was commenting on how large it was, how we'd never be able to eat it. HA!!! Not only did we both stuff ourselves that evening, but as I'm sure you know, lasagna is excellent when cut into serving size pieces, wrapped in aluminum foil and frozen!! I think the flavor just got better and better!! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make THE BEST lasagna they have ever had!! Can't wait to make it again!! Thanks Emeril!!!

    I've made this recipe twice and both times it was a hit! The first time was actually my first time making lasagna EVER. Of all the lasagna recipes that I have cooked, this is my favorite by far. Absolutely delicious!

    About to make this recipe!!! Under ingredients it calls for 1/2 lb. of grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese....do you add this to the other 4 cheeses? It doesn't say in the directions:( I see that you add 2 oz. to the sauce. HELP!!!
