    I've never made meatloaf before but i was challenged by my brother to find a recipe that was as good as his local diner's. He loved the meatloaf. And the sauce is awesome!After letting the meatloaf rest I sliced it and then grilled both sides on a skillet, served them with creamy mashed potatoes and Rocco Despirito's fried onions(see is meatloaf recipeon top. Diner vs. me. I won :

    Many years I have tried to feed my family meatloaf, including my mom's which is considered escellent. Each time a frown a complaint, until I tried Emeril's. Children are grown but still complaind until they tasted Emerils. Even my grandchilden like it.

    This meatloaf is outstanding, my family could always take it or leave it with meatloaf, not so with this one. Everyone wanted more, even my 4 year old grandson said that it was "delicious". The flavors just burst in your mouth!

    This is the best meatloaf we have ever had and I don't care for meatloaf. My family loves it. The only thing I changed was that I used ground pork instead of pork sausage and sometimes I can't get veal so then I just increase the beef and pork. This is absolutely delicious and you won't go wrong even with those that turn up their nose at meatloaf.

    I never liked meatloaf until I attempted to follow this recipe. This is the most flavorful and moist meatloaf I have ever tasted. I recommend this recipe to everyone.

    I am an in home chef and have made over 20 different meatloaf recipes for many clients. This one is everyones favorite. I sometimes just use bottled chili sauce for the glaze, and ground pork instead of sausage. Those are the only changes I sometimes make.....and its always wonderful.
