Oh, my goodness! This is, perhaps, the BEST shrimp scampi I have ever had! We served it for Christmas dinner (without the pilaf, and everyone absolutely loved it!

I thought this was really good and my 9 YR son LOVED it!. The only things I changed was to use Smart Balance butter and when I added the lemon juice and wine, I cooked the shrimp in it for about 3 minutes, removed the shrimp and reduced the sauce down a little... I aslo did not put my rice in the oven as my lids aren't overproof. I just simmered it on the stove for about 20 minutes. I will for sure make this again!

Wow! This was very tasty! I am not a big 'shrimp fan' (like my hubby, but this was something I really enjoyed eating. The pilaf recipe is one that I am going make again. It isn't much harder than the box kind and has much better flavor!

I have been making this for about 5 years; finally got around to reviewing it. Although this must be an absolute calorie monster, it is one of the best foods I have ever tasted. Ever. And the rice pilaf part is SO good, I frequently make it to go with other dishes. Trust me: make this dish.

This was A+++++ WONDERFUL! Nice & easy.... cooking time very short. Love the aroma. TASTY & RICH!!! Only thing I would suggest is to avoid "over richness," either drain the shrmip OR add the butter/wine/lemon sauce "to taste."

The "Essence" (I used a cajun seasoning I made myself weeks ago was an excellent addition to a classic dish. I will definitely make this again!
