    This recipe is fabulous. We absolutely enjoyed it and we can’t wait to have the leftover sauce. I did not add milk to the entire batch, just the portion we used that evening. Any feedback on that? (I would imagine it would reheat/freeze fine, just like leftovers from a restaurant. I was going to toss in a frozen fresh basil cube, but thought it might change the flavor. I definitely recommend trying this fantastic sauce.

    I love this!!! My husband loves it when I maket it. We keep kosher so I make a few substitutes. I use vegetable stock (it's hard to find kosher chicken stock near me, and I use almond milk instead of whole milk.

    This is a yummy and healthy bolognese recipe. The entire family loved it and I froze several portions in the freezer - which will be perfect for those post soccer game meals in the fall. We put in smokey cumin in as well.

    Love this recipe! Made it a few times already, & even my picky toddler ate it. Yes, it takes a while, but it's worth the wait & can easily be frozen in small batches for a meal in a pinch later. We once served it on gnocchi, & it was so filling & delicious.

    It's too bad the two early '1-star' ratings skew the overall ratings, because this is truly a 5-star recipe.

    This is a good recipe. I could feed my whole town on the amount it makes. I make it mosty the way it is in, but of course I always have to add or subtrack most recipes for me. ;

    I make this recipe a good once a month. I just love Emeril's recipes because they are very stable and forgiving....thank goodness as I like to cook, but have had a few disasters.

    The ingredients are basic, the turkey is very hardy (tried mixing with beef once, but will not again. This recipe is definitely best with turkey. Our guests are always surprised when they learn the bolognese is "turkey" (aka healthy and not beef...

    Sometimes I make it and then freeze a couple of bags for later when we need a yummy quick meal, but are too tired to cook.

    And, unfortunately, everyone always wants to eat too soon when the aroma wafts thru the house...so, a little cornstarch mixed with water can do wonders to thicken early.....

    Emeril, we love your recipes, energy and passion for food!!! Thank you for sharing your gifts!

    We love Bolognese - this recipe is a nice alternative to the usual red meat and butter varieties - we really liked it - Next time I will triple the veggie amounts - I doubled the amounts this go around and it could have used more. I like this even better than Wolgang's Chicken Bolognese. To the reviewer who did not understand the addition of the milk - it cuts the acidity of the sauce - don't skip this step as it does make a difference in the final result.

    Loved this recipe! The turkey was so flavorful. Had some of it as soup the next day. Definitely would make this again.
