Unbelievably delicious. My first time workig with fava beans, which took a little longer than expected, but so good. And lots of room to play- up the level of pancetta (lowering the oil, using brussell sprouts instead of escarole. Just incredible. My boyfriend is already looking forward to leftovers.

My whole family loved this dish! I had never cooked with fava beans and was surprised at how delicious they were. They have a distinctive but mild taste.

My family loved this recipe! I had never used fava beans until now and loved it. However if in a hurry, I think I will substitute asparagus next time for the fava beans.

This was surprisingly good. You really have to get good pancetta and definitely add extra cream. Only substitution was parmesan for the pecorino romano. I thought the escarole would be strong but it really melted right into the sauce.

This is a simple and delicious pasta. Any green can be substituted for the escarole. The fava beans are so buttery. try this and you won't be disappointed

This was an outstanding pasta recipe. Healthy, delicious, not your run of the miil added pasta ingredients. Favas and greens were wonderful and added extra nutrition. Didn't have heavy cream so added a knob of butter. Certain the cream would have been delicious. Also, the cheese is the secret ingredient here. Would make this again in a flash and was thrilled with the outcome!

I made the vegetarian version of this recipe. I couldn't find fava beans so I used soybean instead and I the escarole with fresh spinach. It was Awesome!

I agree that the end product was delicious. Maybe I'm a slow peeler, but I found the 15 minute prep time was way off the mark. It took me at least that long just to peel the pods, parboil the beans, and then peel the beans. So unless you have a speedy sous chef helping you out or maybe Rachel Ray, this is not a 31 minute meal.
