This was delicious and easy to make. Added less cheese towards the end as the prosciutto made my sauce salty enough. Paired with leftover wine and garlic bread, everyone loved this. Will be making often, especially during the holidays for family and friends. Thank you, Emeril, for another fail-proof recipe! I'm new to cooking but it tasted like a real chef made this!

My family enjoyed this dish. I used half and half instead of the heavy cream and spaghetti insead of fetticcini(my son likes spaghetti.I also added bacon. It was delicious.

Easy and good! I've made it with and without the peas and prosciutto and I actually prefer it without the additions, thats just me though.

I've made this several times and every time it's wonderful! I would NOT add salt. The prosciutto alone is very salty. I would also cut back on adding too much cheese to take away from the salty taste. Will continue to make!

Let me start this off by stating that I'm the world's worst cook. I made this and even incorporated other reviewer's suggestions with ease. It was good and easy! I couldn't believe it. : Here are the suggestions that I incorporated:
-I added some butter along with the olive oil
-I used one shallot instead of two
-I used sauteed shrimp instead of ham
-I used 1 1/2 cups of heaving cream (next time I'll add even more just to make a bit more sauce
-I used 3/4 cup grated parm
