    These were good. The flavor didn't come through as I had expected it to. This could be because I omitted the hot sauce. Next time I'll add more essence to the flour mixture.

    We had these for Father's Day and they were excellent - moist and flavorful! My son doesn't like breaded chicken so we took some out of the marinade and grilled them - sprinkling with a little extra Essence. They were GREAT! Plump, juicy, crispy and full of flavor. You actually get more of the marinade flavor this way as the breading and frying can mask it. You can also do a whole bunch for a crowd easier on the grill. We will definitely make these again!!

    THANKS AGAIN EMERIL !!!! I KICK UP THE WINGS WITH MY OWN HOT SAUCE , BUT EVERY ELSE AS RECOMMENDED. I WAS A INSTANCE ROCKSTAR ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. I WILL SERVE AGAIN AND AGAIN IN 2010.

    Served these to some friends last weekend and now they all know I'm the best cook they know. They just don't know I use 3 of Emerils cookbooks and have asked a couple of his restaurant chefs some questions about technique. Ha Ha!

    I made this for my family this evening. I couldn't find Emeril's red pepper sauce but use Frank's hot sauce. My family loved it!

    This was my first time making my own wings and I impressed myself, thanks to Emeril. I like the crunchy outside and the juicy inside. I tossed them in the hot sauce after frying and I still think they could have used a little more heat. I will absolutely make again.
