I tried this recipe several times at home and I have to say that there's nothing like soothing a small oil burn by putting a fried chocolate sandwich cookie in your mouth. I have also found out that freezing the battered cookies before they go into the oil makes them much easier to fry.

Hey, this recipe is good but where im from we called them fried oreos :] and we dont use baking powder or flour or milk or eggs we just use the hungry jack buttermilk pancake mix its just the same. But i did try this recipe and it was also good. So thanks for another great dessert :].

Although it is fried. It is light and tasty with just enough cholocate when made with overstuffed oreos. A good dessert for any occasion.
