I have looked for a long time for a yummy non-alcohol fondue recipe. This was gooey, delicious, and alcohol-free! I substituted 1/2 cup apple cider mixed with 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar for the white wine. It was awesome! We had it for Christmas Eve dinner and had a blast!

Although I used different cheeses, the flavor was delicious and my NY Eve guests all loved it. The garlic enhances the flavors of the cheese and the wine to a higher level. Just great!

Easy to make. Enjoyed by all. Try with diced Granny Smith Apples. Good for social environment.

Too much wine in this recipe and the cheese was watery, not thick like most fondues. Had to increase the cheese a great deal, and next time maybe I'll use 1/2 wine and 1/2 some other liquid.
