I'm a little confused; does the guava cook away?...how would you place half a guava on a slice of cheesecake for presentation? A picture would have been much more helpful.

Smooth and Light. I was a bit worried about serving a goat cheesecake since I normally make the white chocolate orange cheesecake recipe I found here that everyone goes crazy for but everyone at dinner complimented on how good they thought this cake was. And dont skip on the guavas if they're available in your area! I presliced the cake and placed a guava on each piece and it looked simple and elegant.

this cheesecake is smooth, rich and elegant. In addition to the sour cream glaze, a fruit glaze;strawberry, blueberry or what ever fresh fruit is in season makes a beautiful presentation
