I've had chicken satay in many Thai restaurants and in every case the peanut sauce was sweeter than this recipe. It was not the result I was expecting. (I substituted condensed milk for coconut milk to reduce the fat content in the recipe. This might have something to do with the savoriness of the sauce.

This was a hit at our party. Very tasty, but it makes alot of sauce.

The sauce was a little strong for just chicken. I had a lot of sauce left overso I stir fried veggies and rice noodles and added 1/2-1 cup of the peanut sauce at end of stir fry-DECLICIOUS!

These satays are delicious. My family loves them--even the picky neighbor kid liked them.

I made the recipe and really did enjoy it. My only complaint was that the dip was too peanuty. The spice was good, but I wanted more of a soy flavor. I think for the time I spent putting it together, I would have been better off just getting some stuff out of the bottle. That said, the chicken was wonderful and I'll definitely make it again.

Everyone loved it! However, I did add a little bit of salt for taste and a little more curry too. I recommend to anyone who wants something easy but looks fancy!

It's good enough but coming from someone who's lived around southeast Asia, it still has a lot to be desired. Since the marinade already has soy sauce, omitting fish sauce would make it less salty and healthier too. However, the peanut sauce is good. I did only half the recipe and there was still a lot left so I just put it in an airtight container and into the freezer.
