We loved the steak maranade, it complimented the cesar dressing perfectly!

This is a great recipe and very versatile. I have served the salad with salmon and leftover roast chicken, as well as beef. I like to bake the croutons in olive oil, butter and garlic. I added anchovy paste to some of the croutons and liked it, too. The imagination and talent of the chefs on Food Network astounds me!

Looked this one up after just watching the show with the Jets. The instructions for the dressing are wrong. You don't crack the eggs in the water, which results in them being poached. You put them in the water whole so they are coddled.

Also, for the marinade, Emeril said he was adding red wine vinegar and champange vinegar, but he added 2 red liquids to the marinade. Am assuming he was using red wine vinegar and red wine as these instructions indicate?

I used a bottled dressing, but this was delish. I didnt have any essence, so i used a combo of montreal steak seasoning and cajun seasonings, which turned out fine. I can't wait to try this marinade on a steak main course!

My fiance and I love this recipe, I make it quite often. The marinade is simple and I seem to always have these ingrediants on hand. Simple to make and delish. The only change I make is to the dressing, I use anchovi paste instead of the full fish.

I've you're tired of chicken, give this dish a try. It was super easy, and I just used store bought caesar dressing. Better off doing your skewers medium rare - this way the steak just melts with the salad.

I'm really not big on salads but this combo is a winner.
