I used anchovy paste, & fresh mozzarella, added portabello mushrooms.
Broiling the vegetables took about an hour. Wonderful!

It is so nice to see Emeril do a great vegetarian dish! I love him, but there are not a lot of recipes that I can make, without the pork fat, meat, etc.
    Thank you, Emeril!!

I am cooking this tomorrow for a dinner party. Do the noodles need to be cooked ahead of time? I am a cooking novice and the recipe doesn't mention wheterh to cook ahead of time.

Made a day out of it by buying a bunch of fresh spinach, using half for spinach salad, and the rest for fresh spinach lasagna noodles.

Since I was able to roll thinner, I was able to half Emeril's recipe and make a 3 layer in a 7 by 11 baking dish. As othe reviews noted, the basil oil is inspired.

My wife resists lasagna, since it is usually a gut bomb, but she pronounced this good!

This is by far, the best lasagna I have ever had. It is a bit of work but well worth it. Make sure to make two - you will want an extra one around!

I was never a big lasagna fan until now. I'm a novice cook who took a shot at this recipe because it looked interesting. I cannot wait for my family's next get together to drop this bomb on them. I have no doubt that it will blow them away.

Wow... I'm always looking for good, one-dish meals that have lots of veggies. This was wonderful! I added sausage and that was great too.

Oh my goodness, this was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone loved it. SO GOOD. Instead of using puttanesca sauce, I just used my favorite organic tomato sauce and WOW. Too good for words!
