This was very good and made just as the recipe called for. I made shrimp stock with the shells, and a few aromatics before I made tthe meal. The truffle oil makes it just a bit more finished. We can all make substitutions, but I prefer to read a review of the recipe as is, and then go my own way if it needs to be tweaked!

We truly enjoyed this recipe. Very fresh and the truffle oil was a nice twist.

I've been reading the reviews and to be honest I'm probably not gonna try the dish. I would love to but I don't want to waste any money.

This recipe was great despite all my substitutions. I used linguine instead of fettuccini. I did not have shrimp stock or truffle oil so instead used a little extra water, salt, and olive oil. I used canned tomatoes and did not have any tomato sauce, so I left that out. I had added salt and pepper to taste and the dish turned out excellent.

This recipe was too expensive to throw away, which is just what we did. Nothing blended well, the flavors were awful.

This recipe was not a success at all (which has never happened to me before when using one of Emeril's recipes. The flavors did not blend at all. This is an expensive recipe to make, when you have bought shrimp, a pound of fresh mushrooms, truffle oil, etc. The only redeeming quality was the mushrooms, which were good on their own. I did not finish my serving, and I will not be eating the leftovers!

Overall a pretty good and easy meal to put together....
However for my taste it needs to have a bit more spice to it.
