Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (13.5-ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut flavored rum
  • 1/4 cup white rum

Directions

In a bar blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until combined, about 1 minute. Serve in cordial glasses with 1 to 2 cubes of ice.

    I'm glad people can do Emeril's version and enjoy it, Emeril is the bomb.
    However, I grew up in Haiti and I keep the authentic taste close to my heart, that is somewhat Americanized and not the true Haitian way to make Cremasse. The taste would not take me back, to them good old days, HMMMM!! But like I said, I'm glad it works for most people.

    My family is from Haiti, we normally serve it warm. But, I plan to use this as a drink for barbeque's parties. It is done with a twist and I look forward to exercising it! Thanks, Emeril!
