Delicious biscuit recipe. The texture of the biscuits is the best I have tried. We made a version without the ham and cheese to have with chocolate gravy and it was terrific.

I have made a lot of biscuits, but I have never been completely happy with the results until I made these. They are so freakin good! Perfect tender crumb, light and tasty. Made with sharp white cheddar and leftover honey baked ham-unreal. I made half the recipe and it came out perfect, and, they take all of 5 minutes to throw together. Next time will use a sharper cheese, maybe asiago. I am going to serve them for a Christmas brunch with shrimp and grits. FYI-they would be a fantasic basic biscuit without the chesse and ham.
