First, I made this dish with canned chick peas, so I cut 1 hour off the time before adding the rice. Second, I used long grain brown rice, which took a bit longer to cook, but it was great. I really enjoyed this dish and I will be adding it to my regular round of winter soup/stew dishes. An instant classic.

The flavors in this stew are very good. Both my husband and I enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately, I had to cook it an extra 1.5 hours to get the rice (I used long grain brown and chickpeas to cook and to get the consistency right. It was far too soupy before the extra cook time (I left the lid off for the last 1.5 hours to simmer away the liquid. In the future, I'll make this with less broth and I'll replace the chickpeas with more lentils.

Yum. An easy and great blend of flavors. Great for a potluck because it makes enough to feed an army!

Great flavors and wonderful textures. If I make it again, I would probably use chicken breasts instead of thigh. Well worth trying at least once.

This was very good, will be making again and again. Cut the recipe in half, and used canned chickpeas so it cooked faster. A perfect combination of flavors. Did not use the rice but had bread on the side.

This recipe was fabulous. I followed the recipe to the "T", didn't change a thing. Next time, however, I will make it as a vegetarian meal and omit the chicken - it is so hearty and flavorful that I feel like the chicken is not even necessary. Thank you! I will keep this recipe forever!

I was so pleasantly surprised with this dish. Even my hubby (who has never had Moroccan before and was questioning it ate 2 bowlfuls...eagerly! It was a REALLY nice combination of spices and a great new way to make chicken. I will definitely make this one again!!

I was feeling quite brave last week and doubled this recipe the first time I made it. I was NOT disappointed! The only thing I might change next time is to throw some zuchini or some other veggie in at the end to give it a better appearance. Top notch blend of spices! And with grocery prices the way they are, a bag or two of beans is very doable. Thanks!

I really didn?t know how my family would like this one, but they all wanted seconds, even my two daughters who are fussy eaters.
