Although a little time consuming (~2 hours, this recipe is delicious and healthy! I am 21 with not much experience, went by the book and loved it!

I added carrots and a green pepper, since I like more vegetables. Also, instead of adding rice, I made couscous separately. Hope you don't mind, Emeril!

It was a good dish for a dinner party, though. Fun to eat, different, yummy, and it can simmer while everyone has appetizers (hummus, of course! without worrying that it will overcook.

Something struck me about this recipe, and I decided to run out and buy the ingredients and give it a try. I am so glad I did, because the end result is very hearty and tasty, as well as very healthy. Not too spicy at all, all the flavors work well together for a unique savory dish. Very satisfying dish. If you like Indian cuisine, you'll really enjoy this one. This is the perfect one-pot recipe for a cold night in.

This was the best soup I've ever made. The seasonings were perfect. I substituted boneless, skinless chx breasts and it still turned out wonderful. Friends and family loved it and I highly recommend you try it! Makes great leftovers too!

Having been to Morocco and having Moroccans in the family, this recipe is pretty authentic. Very good.

I am surprised to see that this is the Only recipe on the Food Network website that has to do with Ramadan. There are many delicious, healthy and authentic dishes that contribute to a very special holiday for billions, Ramadan. Hopefully, soon it can be recongnized as Christmas and Hannakah are on Food Network. T
